What a day. We had a new washer and dryer delivered. Our old washer and old dryer have each been slowly dying over the past couple of years, and since they're 12 years old each, Tim decided to go ahead and get new ones. Because of the way they sit in our laundry closet, we found it best to make the doors swing oppositely from their factory setting. So we pulled out the calculus books and figured out how to rearrange the dryer door. It turns out that the washer door can't be reversed at any price, so we'll deal with it.One of my fish seems to be ailing, the firefish I bought a few weeks ago. Not sure it'll make it through the night. I'm kind of bummed about that.
We watched The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest on streaming today. And the first snow of 2012 came blowing in. Then this evening, we did phở with our friend Dave, and afterwards we went to see The Adventures of Tintin in 3-D. Upon coming home, there were some nice views of the snow-covered trees and sky.
