My boss is doing some consolidating and decluttering in his personal life. So this week, he asked me if I would like to take his salt-water aquarium. I have kept a fresh-water aquarium for several years now, but this would be my first dip into salt water. He insists it's easy to take care of, just requires regular testing of the water and cleaning every couple of weeks (as I already have experience doing). And I am reading lots of information about their care online.
So this afternoon, he sent me home with the car full of a 30-gallon aquarium, including fish, food, pumps, lights, chemicals, test kits, brushes, cabinet, and a hollow Buddha. There is a blue damselfish, a four-striped damsel, and two Ocellaris clownfish (he insists they are pseudo-clownfish, since they don't live in a symbiotic relationship with a sea anemone). I'm looking forward to enjoying these new additions to the household.
